The
goal of WestSky Promotions is to provide you with professional
quality imprinted products. The main component of a professional
imprint is quality artwork. You may submit your artwork via
email, cd, zip or floppy disk in the following PC formats:
Preferred
Formats:
Adobe Illustrator CS or lower versions (.ai or .eps). All fonts must be converted
to outlines to avoid conversion to default font when the file is opened.
Corel
Draw 8 or lower versions (.cdr). All fonts must be converted
to curves to avoid conversion to default font when the file
is opened.
Alternative
formats:
QuarkXPress or Freehand, text as outlines/curves as an .eps file or PDF file
text as outlines/curves. Please note that these formats are not always dependable
and will be judged on a case by case basis as to whether or not they can be
used for production purposes.
The
following formats cannot be used for most production purposes:
.JPG, .BMP, .GIF, .DOC, .PUB, .PSD, .PNG. It is not possible
to simply save any of these formats into Adobe Illustrator
or Corel and change the nature of the file. The artwork must
be CREATED in Adobe Illustrator
or Corel Draw. There are 3 exceptions to these formats. We
can accept high resolution .TIF or .JPG files for production
of celluloid buttons, lapel pins or embroidered patches.
If
artwork cannot be submitted in Preferred Formats and the
Alternative Formats are deemed to be unusable, artwork conversion
charges may be incurred.
We
will set up to 5 lines of straight line copy free of charge
in one of the font styles shown below. You will receive an
initial layout proof and 1 set of changes free of charge.
There will be a $10.00 charge per change for any additional
set of changes and subsequent required proofs. (We will not
release any artwork that has requested changes without your
approval of the changes).
